ST. CeCILIa

 

Hello, my name is St. Cecilia. I was born in Rome, Italy around 200 A.D. but My exact birthday is unknown. I was born into a rich and wealthy family, and was an only child. During my early life, I grew up in Rome, and I helped anyone who needed it; I even convinced my husband and his brother to be baptized and become Catholic. I followed Jesus by praying night and day. I invited people into my home and preached to them about faith. I also converted over 400 people. I died in Rome, Italy in the year 177 A.D. I was a martyr. I was to be executed. When I could not be executed, the executioner ran in fear. Miraculously, I lived for 3 days after bleeding from the neck. I am such an old saint that I was proclaimed a saint by early christians. My feast day is November 22nd, and I am the patron saint of musicians, singers, and poets
